Hi!   Thanks for visiting...

We refurbish copper pots and pans by retinning the cooking surface with the traditional hand-wiped method. Any dents are repaired and the exterior copper is polished to a new shine.

We are 'foodies' too and love to cook in copper.  We take great care of your prized pieces and pride ourselves on our knowledge and customer service.  Retinning copper cookware is our business and it is ALL we do!

Jim - The pan is stunning. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of your work and the manner in which you tend to these pots. Your work reveals very, very clearly your love for the craft, the pots themselves, and the tradition from which they have come.
I am recommending you to everyone I know who has pots like these. Thank you.

Why East Coast Tinning?

What is RETINNING?

Most copper cookware that was made before ~1990 has a lining of tin on the cooking surface.  Tin is a relatively soft metal and after years of cooking, washing, cooking and washing, this lining wears away and exposes the copper beneath.  Retinning is the process of periodically re-lining this tin layer.

A general rule of thumb - when an area of copper the size of a quarter is showing thru the tin, it is time for a retinning.

How much does it cost?  Check out our Online Estimator.
