Joseph Heinrichs (c.1910) service piece for Cafe Brulot.

Today I got an email about this piece. I had thought…… caviar service. Well - I was way off. Google “Cafe Brulot from Arnaud’s”. You have to see it to believe it!

Bottom line: a flaming coffee and liqueur “event” prepared tableside. It include flames, a spiraling orange peel, and is prepared in this piece from which Faust’s demon Mephistopheles has a good view of your table….

It came to me by way of the St. Regis in NYC.
