DUPARQUET.  Prominent.  Unabashedly large, as if to say to the ages… "I was here!"  c.1920s makes this piece 100years old.

“W.G. Loew” stamp - look up Mr. & Mrs W.G. Loew….. Manhattan - upper East Side townhouse, Newport, RI - Stoneacre on Belleview Ave. - of course.

Nevermind the stamps, the handle makes my working hands look like an author's.  The rivet heads are larger than quarters!   Sure, you say, "...but...its older than the hills, I'm not going to actually be able to cook in it."  The retinned cooking surface could nearly pass as new.  There's just enough blemish to remind you that this is a special pan, a pan with a cherished history that - 100years from now - will still be cooking meals for cherished guests, who will be wondering what "we" cooked in this pan...
