A rare “M&D” stamped sauce. This mark is the very first of the Duparquet stamps beginning in the mid 1850’s through the 1880’s. The original Moneuse and Duparquet founders broke up in the early 1880’s and became two different companies (L.F.D&H and E.M.) before they died and their sons put it back together as DH&M Co.
Finding a M&D piece is quite special.
